This single malt comes from Nikka's first distillery, Yoichi, founded in 1934. Matured on the island of Hokkaido, where the climate is reminiscent of Scotland, this new 10-year-old version seduces with its freshness and intense character. A new permanent edition with limited volumes: 4,800 bottles per year for LMDW.
TASTING NOTES:
- Nose: fresh and herbaceous. Fruity (apricot, banana), subtle peaty aromas that evolve into pastry notes.
- Palate: smooth and lively. Spicy. The peat gives way to creamy pastry flavours.
- Finish: long and dry. Wetland flavours that balance the oak aromas.
