Blended with precision and delicacy, this premium whisky consists of a blend of Miyagikyo malt and Yoichi malt, together with grain whisky distilled in a Coffey still in a smaller proportion. The result is a perfect symbol of balance, roundness and smoothness.
BLEND: Malt distilled at the Miyagikyo distillery. Malt distilled at the Yoichi distillery. Grain whisky distilled in a Coffey still (maize base). Mainly matured in new American oak casks (recharred) and ex-sherry casks.
TASTING NOTES:
- Nose: smooth and round. Fruity (apple, apricot, pear), honeyed, chocolatey (candied orange).
- Palate: creamy. Pastry notes (vanilla), bittersweet (dark chocolate, mandarin).
- Finish: balanced. Toasted, vanilla, slightly bitter and fruity (mandarin and orange zest).
