Did you know that sturgeons have a life cycle of 80 to 120 years? You could say that these fish are true living fossils, having appeared on our planet almost 250 million years ago. They are calm and slow-moving fish, as is usual for cold-blooded animals, and the speed at which they grow is directly related to the water temperature. You’ll learn all these sturgeon secrets and much more during a guided tour of our facilities.

Get to know Riofrío's facilities and the breeding and production process behind one of the best and most famous caviars in the world. At the end of the visit, you’ll get to sample 40 grams per person of our various caviars, accompanied by a glass of champagne or vodka, your choice.
