This wine transcends the limits of a Classic Rioja with notes of stewed black fruit over a background of vanilla and spices. Only 22 Barrels are produced each vintage lending the wine its name.

HISTORY AND ORIGIN
In the late 19th century, within two iron-hooped artisanal oak vats, our founder Celestino Navajas crafted the first wines that would shape our history. The smaller of the two casks gave rise to a unique selection, carefully entrusted to age in just 22 oak barrels. Today, this wine pays homage to our pioneers, to over a century of history and to a winemaking philosophy that we have studied and adapted to the modern day with the utmost respect. The soul of this Gran Reserva can be found in four parcels of more than 45 years of age. A surprising, lively, intense and flavourful wine, which proudly challenges the limits of classicism.
