Tasting notes:
Clean and very bright. Attractive pale yellow color with green highlights. On the nose, it offers white flowers and citrus notes after aeration, as well as a slight hint of sage. Very elegant. Silky but very ample on the palate, with a subtle saline touch that stays present on the palate. The balance between fresh fruit and natural acidity makes it a long and very expressive wine.

ELABORATION: Wine made from the most select vineyards grown in D.O. Rueda near Nava del Rey, cultivated at an altitude of 740 meters. Once the alcoholic fermentation is finished, the battonage process in tank begins, which will last more than two months, with the aim of achieving a greater volume in the mouth. Bottled and stored in a cage for four months to round out and refine the wine.

Bodegas Montecillo strengthens this visionary character and sets course outside of Rioja, like those voyages made a hundred years ago by the steamship Montecillo belonging to the Navajas family.
