Osborne Red Vermouth

€8.95
With this delicate vermouth,Bodegas Osborne, sherry wine producer since 1772, pays homage to a centuries-old tradition with a combination of two of its famed sherry wines, Medium and Pedro Ximénez, which give a touch of sweetness, intensity and lusciousness.
Tasting notes: unctuous and velvety, with a great balance between the bitterness of the botanicals and the traces of sherry (nuts and raisins).
Alcohol: 15%.
Format: 75 cl bottle.

The velvety character of Osborne Vermouth culminates in a harmonious combination of flavours that come from a careful selection of typical botanicals from the area, which include wormwood, burning bush - known locally as "la hierba gitanera" - and a touch of freshness from bitter orange peel.

Colour: reddish mahogany, with orange highlights. Bright, dense.

Nose: a complex aroma that combines notes of oxidative ageing conferred by the traditional system of Criaderas and Soleras for ageing sherry wines, with touches of spice. Wormwood stands out over subtle touches of burning bush (dittany), cinnamon, nutmeg and bitter orange peel.

Palate: unctuous and velvety, with a great balance between the bitterness of the botanicals and traces of sherry (nuts and raisins).
