Osborne expands its portfolio with the craft vermouth DOMINGO and the super-premium gin GOLD
El Puerto de Santa María, 6 May 2021.- Osborne, a company with almost 250 years of history behind it and the owner of brands such as Cinco Jotas, Nordés, Bodegas Montecillo and Carlos I, has acquired the Spanish brand of premium vermouth DOMINGO and the super-premium brand of gin GOLD. This comes after the recent acquisition of the whisky DOBLE V, and has allowed the company to further expand and diversify its portfolio, this being one of the cornerstones of its strategic plan.
The vermouth DOMINGO is a classic Spanish brand which has positioned itself as a premium craft vermouth to be enjoyed and leisurely savoured in traditional bars. ‘Let’s have a vermouth’ is a sentence that belongs to the fifties, sixties and seventies, but can now be heard amongst millennials, who have revived this tradition. The premium vermouth category is growing and is now a favourite amongst Spaniards when out socialising during the day.
For its part, GOLD is a super-premium international gin, which is present in Belgium, Denmark, Austria, Slovenia, Italy, Monaco and Germany. Following its acquisition, Osborne has begun to reposition the brand, a process that will culminate in its upcoming relaunch in Spain, China and Brazil, as well as in the countries mentioned above.
