From a selection of parcels that give the highest quality of fruit and perfect health, near to the Roa and Fuentecén area, with bush trained vines and an average altitude of more than 800 metres.Hand harvested. Cold maceration in inertized tanks over three days in order to extract a very bright and intense colour, as well as a great number of aromas. Alcoholic fermentation at a temperature of 24ºC. Then, malolactic fermentation takes place in small stainless steel tanks.Subsequent racking to French and American oak barrels for a minimum of three months, with meticulous care taken of the barrels, with each one filled by hand. After this short ageing has been completed, and each lot of barrels has been tasted scrupulously three times, the final blending of the wine takes place and the wine undergoes a long resting period in tank with constant homogenization to integrate all the components.After clarification and filtration the wine is bottled and rests in the winery until being launched for the enjoyment of lovers of good wine.


Colour: A very deep coloured wine, with an attractive cherry red colour and a violet rim.

Aroma and flavour: Very seductive on the nose, the black fruit overwhelms the senses and draws together the freshness and ripe, rich flavour of the wine.A long finish, with a touch of spice, notes of sweet cinnamon and vanilla that make it an altogether delicious wine. Enjoyable on the palate, with a good level of acidity, freshness and length, with good volume and fruity sensations enveloped with subtle, smooth and rounded oak tannins.


A great everyday wine. Ideal for serving alongside tapas of cheese or cured meats, or to accompany traditional Castilian cuisine, stews and roast meats.
