Colour: Clean with great intensity. Cherry red with highlights of a still purplish tone.
Aroma and flavour: Despite its long ageing in French oak barrels, it shows dominant black fruit notes blended with resinous notes and subtle spice.
It is silky on the palate, balanced, with a rich body and flavour intensity, delicate acidity and long, ripe tannins. A very persistent finish.
A wine with great ageing potential, which stands out for its complexity and the great richness of flavour and aromas. It brings together the necessary character to pair with rich, fatty dishes such as game, stews, charcuterie and mature cheeses such as Cabrales or Manchego.
